We are very excited to start the new season!
To make sure that we are prepared for this new season starting on May 7th, the Diamond Queen recently traveled down to Great Lakes Shipyard in Cleveland, OH to dry-dock.
This process involves a crane-like machine lifting the boat out of the water. This allows the bottom to be painted and sanded, as well as inspected by the Coast Gaurd. Our boats go through this process every five years.
We are happy to say that the process went smoothly and the Diamond Queen is back in the Rouge River, ready to take more passengers out for an adventure they won’t forget.
