A Detroit tradition for 25 years

When Captain Bill Hoey launched Diamond Jack’s River Tours in 1991, few put their trust behind the idea of touring the Detroit River. But Mr. Hoey was determined to share his adoration for the Great Lakes by offering a family-oriented and affordable way to enjoy the River during the summer. Sadly, Mr. Hoey passed away in December of 2013, but his spirit is still very much present as Diamond Jack’s begins its tours once again, running Thursdays-Sundays. In this, the legacy of Captain Bill Hoey continues with each trip on the Detroit River.
