Greetings, Diamond Jack family! It’s May and the temperatures are rising, days are getting longer and the birds are singing. It’s almost time to be on the Detroit River in a Diamond Jack cruise!
As of right now, our boats are still scheduled to launch on June 4 from the Detroit dock and June 5 from the Wyandotte dock. We are, as so many families in Michigan are doing right now, “playing it by ear”. We are hopeful that the pandemic will have died down significantly in the next month and the Stay at Home order will be lifted. We will, of course, keep our Diamond Jack family updated as things progress and will do everything we can to protect against COVID-19.

School Field Trips Along the Detroit River
Do you ever wish you could get out of the classroom and teach your kids in a more fun and exciting environment? The day-to-day grind can get monotonous pretty fast and students can start to feel bored with the same old curriculum each day. Getting out of your comfort zone to go on an exciting, yet educational, adventure might be right up your alley.
Field trips can be tremendously beneficial for both the teachers as well as the students. Not only do they encourage education in a fun and interesting setting instead of a set curriculum, it can also give students a chance to learn in other environments. The next time you consider taking your students on a road trip or field trip, especially to see the sites, consider taking them “out to sea” with Diamond Jack Detroit river tours!

Hey there, Diamond Jack family! We hope that you’re holding up against this rainy transition into November. We would give anything for another sunny day on the water, but with the leaves falling like the temperatures, our crew has had to prepare our fleet for winter storage.
We would like to take this time and extend our sincerest thanks to all of you that made this 2019 sightseeing and private charter season so memorable. Our hope is that you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did while on the Detroit River.
Over the coming months we will be hard at work updating our tour schedule, making improvements to our boats and updating the sites to explore during sightseeing tours.
