What is a Sightseeing Tour?
Our tours are one-hour narrated Detroit River cruises open to the public.
How much is the tour?
Adult tickets: $22 per person
Seniors 60+: $18 per person
Children 6 to 12: $15 per person
Children 5 and under: $5 per person
How long is the tour?
The length of our river tour is 1 hour.
When does boarding begin?
Boarding is on a first come first served basis and begins 20-30 minutes prior to departure. We suggest arriving at least 30 minutes prior to departure time to take a place in the boarding line.
What is your schedule?
Diamond Jack Riverboat Schedule:
May 6-28 — Saturdays & Sundays only
May 29 - June 7 — No Tours During Grand Prix
June 8 - September 3 — tours run Thursday – Sunday
September 9-24 — Saturday & Sunday only
Does the schedule ever change?
There are no schedule changes anticipated for 2023.

Where do I catch the boat?
1340 East Atwater St, Detroit, MI 48207.
Where do I park?
The closest public parking located is at Cullen Plaza.
There are also paid parking options at Beaubien Place Garage and the Port Atwater Garage.
How do I buy a ticket?
Admission is purchased as you board the boat. We do not take reservations. We accept cash and all major credit cards. Please note that credit card processing is dependent on our having access to a wireless network.
Can I make a reservation?
Sorry, but we do not accept reservations for our public sightseeing tours. We board on a first come first served basis and suggest arriving at least 30 minutes early.
Is there WiFi on board?
Cellular 5G is available along most of the riverfront in addition to your personal hotspots. Please be aware international data roaming rates may apply.
What if I have a group?
Please call the Diamond Jack office for information. Group tours and private charter options are available for larger groups.
Do you take credit cards?
We have credit card machines, but sometimes it is hard to receive a signal at our docking areas. When this happens it is not possible to use the machines. We suggest payment with cash.
Are children allowed?
Yes. Children of all ages are welcomed on the boat when accompanied by an adult. We ask that children are supervised at all times. There is no running or climbing while on board.
Can I bring a stroller on board?
Are dogs or other pets allowed?
Service dogs are allowed on board.
Do you sell food?
We have a snack bar with chips, candy, cookies, beer, wine and soft drinks for sale.
Can I bring food with me?
We do not allow passengers to bring food, picnic baskets, cake, etc. on public sightseeing tours. However, an extensive catering menu is available for all private charters.
